CEL due to aftermarket intake
Hey Guys and Gals,
i have a k&n after market cold air intake. I keep getting the CEL coming off and on here and there. But now has just styaed one. I had the local store read the code and its due to the intake sucking in too much air so its throwing the sensor off. If this ok for me to keep on driving with or should i buy that replacment sesnor that you can get at the GM store online to solve the CEL.. im assuming its messing with my fuel to air ratio...any suggestions.. |

Unplug your battery to reset the ECM and then drive the car so it will re-learn the new air-fuel mixture ratios. That should fix the issue, buying a new MAF sensor won't fix it. Also, double check and make sure all your connections are tight and clamps haven't come loose.
