They have to give you a rental car for any repair that takes over 4 hours it's part of the warranty.

Glad they are repairing your seat.... I hope they will do a better job than on mine. But my dealer will replace the back seat cover completely tomorrow AM. Also I have a slow leak tire will get it fix at the same time...

Good luck.

Dealer changed my driver back seat cover this AM... If they want to repair yours, check on what happens in the area where the safety belt attaches to the seat(the strap) . They where supposed to change the same leather strip as yours (last July) but that section seemed to cause problems because of the bracket holding the strap....

Good luck with yours.

I went to the dealer this morning for the pdim and on the way there when I blasted it up to about 180k my dash lit up like a Christmas tree with lights like
( stabiltrac, traction control, check engine and others ones. When I got there they where all gone they couldn't find no trouble codes so I borrowed a loaner and went to lunch with my friend. When I got back at started for laval around 1:30 I pushed the car again and it did it again so I turned around and went straight back. This time all the error codes where there. There where nine codes from stabilitrac to steering wheel angle sensor and even misfiring on cylinder 4 and eight. So the dealer put $50 of gas in my take and I drove around with the technician in the passengers seat holding a laptop plugged to the car. What we found out was that under hard acceleration sometimes when the engine torque it can pinch the wiring harness and cause the error messages. GM knows this there's also PIP# 4863 but doesn't tell any one. GM
Told the dealer today to clear the error codes and reposition the harness a little that should fix the problem. Only if it happpens again after they re adjust the harness that they will replace it. I told my dealer bullshit and my friend told me wait a couple of days and call us back even if the problem doesn't come back and they will just replace it.
