Question rollerskates on calipers 1LE

hi guys, would like to know if gm still has the rollerskates installed -2014-on the front calipers of your 1LE.

i think it was installed there for vibration?

hope it's all gone ,to make a much cleaner look inside the wheel since the caliper is red...

thanks

Late 2013 build mine are still on there... they help reduce brake moan and harmonics don't take them off

So the roller skates are only needed on the stock brake pads? If I replace the stock pads with Hawke Ceramic pads, they will be gone?

that's a good thing to know. it's even better ,that's only part of the pads. still it's sad that it's still on the newer ones.. i guess gm's engineers bailed out---//more lack of $$ do to more research/test--- of looking for something better than this solution..

Thanks for the info.
much appreciated

Sure you want to do that? I thought they were there to prevent brake squeal.
