just a question i dont want to start a new thread but

lets say a fully loaded lt2/rs vert is hm around 29k to 31k what would be a good down payment?

i wonder how many show cars they have?

did the yellow camaro have the rs package?

how did the view look from sitting in the car looking out the front?

I think that any where from a third to half of the car would be a good down payment to get payments within a resonable amount. Looking out the front of this car is an experience, you see the hood scoop one front and it just feels so wide. I didn't get to sit in it long but I was so cool for the minute or two I was in it. Its really hard to describe...I want it even more now than I did before I ordered it..it just keeps getting better.

Totally get that. Even if I did have the money right now to buy it I'd wait until I'd been able togo for a test drive. That and I want the HUD so no Camaro for a few years for me in any case.

Well Justin Congrats man. I'm jealous that your getting an SS as well. I hope you do enjoy. Tell me one thing, how did the interior feel. I know its "production intent", but just for the record, it didn't feel cheap, did it? Also, will you be getting an A6 or M6? Tell us some more details as you find out some more info. Agian ---- CONGRATS

Thanks..and the interior felt great to me, not cheap at all. It just felt right...I went with the M6...and as soon as I hear more I will post it on here.

I also attended this event. I've been looking at the Camaro for over a year now, and seeing it in person was more incredible than I had imagined. When leaving, I actually had to turn around and go back because I wanted to see it again!

I did hear something slightly disheartening though. I asked Greg English (one of their internet sales guys) about potential pricing, knowing full well that official numbers are not out. He thinks the car we were looking at (LT2 RS) will run a high 28K to 31K. This threw me off a little, so I asked what he thought the base price of a Camaro would be, and he said "around $26,000." I'm hoping he meant just the LT2 and not the LS. What do you think Justin? I'm assuming that you probably got to talk price a lot more than I did. I don't want to turn this into a pricing thread, I just want to know if you think he's spot on or over shooting. I suppose this would also go to whether or not they will really charge MSRP.

BTW, nice pics. I took some as well, but you got my angles and then some, so I'll avoid cluttering things here. Thanks and congrats!
