Latch Not Flush
Just joined today, nice info so far! Did a search for a problem I'm having with my latch not sitting flush in its area. Saw a thread about leaving the latch in the open position but could not already find a post with this problem and a potential solution. Sounds like it may be an easy fix (one the hubby or myself can do at home), any advice?
Thanks! Joanne |

It's not uncommon that the latch handle does not sit perfectly flush when it's closed.

I'd settle for "almost" flush LOL .. it's hitting on the entire rear part of the handle. Not sitting at all.

Will it sit flush with the top partially open? Sounds like it's not fully locking in.

Looks like the area it's supposed to sit flush into is pushed back somehow. I will post a pic this afternoon. Thanks!
