Angry EMAIL - Customer Loyalty Cash - NOT ON CAMARO ??

This kind of sucks, I get an email thanking me for being a loyal GM customer offering loyalty cash on everything GM... except CAMARO (of course).

Even Corvettes had $1000 on them...

Thanks GM for rewarding me for sticking around, Area 51, Shipping Delays... etc. etc.

this suprises you? what's suprising is they're offering $1000 on the Vette!

cars like the Camaro and 99% of the time, the Vette........NEVER qualify for this stuff. it's also amazing that GM is allowing GMS, Supplier and College Grad/Millitary discounts on the Camaro.

so don't get all pissy.............get used to it with a car like this!

They are trying to get out of bankruptcy, not having trouble selling camaros, they have no need for more incentive.

i hear ya......i buy 2 new GM vehicles per year on average! the Camaro base models may qualify down the road, but the 2SS or a Z28 will probably never qualify................like the Z06 probably doesn't either.

Actually, the Z06 and the ZR1 both do...

holy bankruptcy batman...................

don't think i've ever seen that. the GM earnings ad i got would let me use up to $3000 of my earnings on anything other than the Z06 and any Camaro.

but i did get to use $1000 on the Camaro..............

with the sleeker more efficient slim-line GM............big rebates will probably be no more. i heard a rumor from a former GM exec that dealer lots will be very limited.

he said GM wants to get back to the old way of doing things, where your choices on the lot were few in an attempt to get customers to order everytime.

2010 Equinox - no bonus cash....not surprising on the new model year cars...it's time to move the inventory.

At least you beat a price increase - the car has no room for incentives, just like the Malibu when it was launched....

Yes, I got the same letter, and yes I was disapointed as well.

GM could have thrown us a bone. 500.00-750.00 whatever. The amount would have been fine. The word "Loyalty" being in there kind of rubs me wrong.

As a 5 Generation Corvette owner, and business owner with employee's purchasing all Chevy products you would think they might have included all of us that have stepped up to the plate on Camaro.

It would have left us all with a more positive feeling.

Unhappy

I agree - even $500 - $750 would have been a pleasant gesture....

It sets the tone for today's Camaro people that may or may not buy another GM product down the line.
