Adam's Shelf Life

What is the shelf life of Adam's products? The only dealer that is close to me only has products that were born in 2007. I was afraid to buy their products because I didn't know if they would be outdated. How long are Adam's products good for is what I would really like to know. Dylan if you could please answer this. Thanks for the replies ahead of time.

I can't. I don't have a credit card or paypal and my dad won't loan me his because he says that the stuff is a waste of money lol. I know personally that its not, but he doesn't believe me. I have some money to buy a few things, but I don't have anyway to, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Sorry buddy! I've been caught up with work - the general shelf life of most mixed chemicals is 1-2 years depending on how they are stored. Chemicals don't like dramatic temperature changes (below 60 and above 90), such changes can cause the chemicals to separate - but its nothing a vigorous shaking can't resolve. Hop on over to Adamsforums.com - ton of great people and endless threads on detailing.

Alright thanks, and I understand. I get caught up doing homework all the time lol, and family and life is always more important than online. But thanks again for the advice you and the Junkman are always there to answer my questions.

I know! You guys are true enthusiast, and by the way, I'm not impressed with Griot's services. Idk if you have had a chance to read my other thread.

I just finished it. I haven't used their line for years, I would rate it so-so for the time I used it. There were better products on the market then, and I'm sure they are better products now.

Product shelf life varies, and depends largely on how the products were stored.

The true test is visual (thats why we package in clear bottles to some extent) if you pick up a product, shake it really well. Outside of metal polish and spray glaze they should mix and stay mixed... if the product separates out its no longer any good.

He has had them stored in an air conditioned area the entire time. So does that mean that the products will be ok if I can shake them and they stay together?
