That makes 3 of us

Any of you that know me off the forums knows that I've been obsessing over a new set of wheels for months now. This is definitely my biggest lump of cash dropped on the car and I think it's going to be worth it!!!!

I've decided to go with a set of Vredstein Sessanta 275-40-20 for the front and 315-35-20 for the rears. Sent a few PM's out to a few vendors today, waiting to hear back then I'll be ordering some new rubber as well. Now it just needs to stop freaking snowing!!!!

SSRS55: WHEN are you going to make a build thread dude. None of these guys have gotten to see your car. Get to work man!!! You've done so much to it already and it's so impressive you gotta let everyone else see!!!

I know man just been lazy I guess, maybe someday here

Oh and those tires your looking into , our the reviews on them pretty good?
I would imagine they are a cheaper alternative but I never heard of them so I'm curious about them...

The people who have them love them. Very popular with the vette crowd. They're marginally cheaper than the invo and significantly less than the pirelli. Everything is less than the pirelli though... 500+ for 315 rears?!?!?! No thanks

Have you tried DynoSteve at RDP for a price on the Vred's? He seems to sell a lot of them!

Yes! Sent him a p.m. today. I'm going to check locally on invos too but I think I will get more life out of the vreds. I'm sure the wheels will take another 4 or more weeks to ship so I have time.

Hopefully I won't wait as long as you did!! ;-)

I hope you don't either! At least my wait was over the winter during storage time and they came in just in time for Spring, so it worked out OK!

If I have mine mounted and installed by april I'll be a happy camper. Gonna be looking sharp at the fest this year. I never thought it would happen but this thing is starting to come together!

Did you do your dash/shifter bezel painting yourself? If so how difficult was it?

Yes I painted them myself! Not too bad of a job, the parts just unsnap. The toughest part was the painting! The steering wheel trim requires removing the airbag and that was a little scarey too!

Man you've got bigger balls than I do! I didn't even think of the airbag removal. I wanted to just do up the guage cluster bezel and shifter trim. I suppose it would look off if I didn't do the steering wheel too. Messing with the airbags spooks me out lol. It looks so nice though. I always like a nice DIY touch.

Haha didn't go so well today after putting another 80 miles on. The funny thing, after going to the shop I went to autozone to buy my own OBDII reader and when I got home and used it my catalyst was "ready" so come tomorrow I should be good.

Btw what tires are you using with those Forgestars
