HELP NEED NEW CAMARO BUYER

Hi guys i need help with EXTRA HASTE!! Im currently in the process of buying a 2011 Camaro 2SS. Im in the Army and deployed (in Taji Iraq as we speak) so obviously i'm trying to use the GM Military Discount (AND USAA 750 incentive). Unfortunately for me im not able to talk face to face the car dealerships so i have got mixed answers on how much the discount is. One delearships said 500 (i know its BS) another quoted me @ 2000 below MSRP. So in that aspect, how much did you pay for your 2011 Camaro (or '10) 2SS w/ the GMMD? the quicker the better!!! I'm scheduled to return home in about 1 month. So im looking @ getting one built, which i have been told takes about 4 weeks. which is around the time im getting home. God knows it would be wonderful to see my wife, 6 month old baby girl AND my Camaro when i touchdown. THANKS IN ADVANCE... PM me

Do not know much on the answers about your car. What dealerships are you talking to in the area? I lived in Manhattan KS for over 20 years about 10 years ago and knew the owners of the Chevy in Manhattan and Jim in Junction in City.

First off thanks for your service! That's great if they're able to build one in 3 to 4 weeks. That was unheard of even just six months ago. That sounds like a good price if that's the out the door price. Good luck!

Congrats on your order!! And THANK YOU for your service and all the sacrifices you make.

Just have the salesperson show you the invoice when the car is built...YOUR price is clearly marked on the invoice next to the word 'PREFER'. Once your car is built and you have a VIN you can email me and I'll tell you exactly what your GM Military discount price should be.

Any discounts and rebates will be taken off the 'PREFERRED' price.

+1 on Fort Riley and Manhattan. I graduated from KSU in May '08. I have a lot of fond memories of that town, especially the 'ville. Kite's, Rusty's, Salty Rim, Pats, The Lou, all of those bars, good times. I'm sure the names were different back in your day Scott (except the Lou)?

As for the topic of the thread, couldn't you tack on the GM loyalty discount since you have a Saturn and Vette?? Maybe drop it down to $35k and change?

You should be talking to one of the awesome dealers on the site here...They will definately give you the best possible price. Even if you have to go get it somewhere...

For the 2SS with the options you listed, the MSRP quoted is correct. Here's what I come up with using GM's supplier pricing website:

MSRP $39,990

Supplier Price $38,633
USAA Incentive - 750
Sales Price $37,883

Sounds like you're getting a little more off than that ($3093 off MSRP). I think I would jump on that deal.

PS the website to look up supplier pricing is:
http://www.gm.com/vehicles/currentoffers/

Click on CREDIT UNION MEMBER DISCOUNT, then Price your vehicle. Select your options and it will give you MSRP and Preferred Pricing numbers
