thinking of selling my Goodyears...?
As I just puchased some Michelin AS tires for my 1LE, I am thinking of selling my Goodyears as it looks like I'll be on the East Coast for the next several years.
Tires have just a hair under 3000 miles on them and were used under regular driving conditions. Thoughts? Should I keep em or sell? I could use the money to defray the cost of the not cheap Michelins I just purchased, so that's a consideration. |

Where on the east coast are you moving to? I'm in VA and interested in what you would sell them for.

I'm already out east. Tires are still in Phoenix. Whoever purchased them would either have to be in Phoenix or be willing to pay for shipping.

I ask because I am in Raleigh, NC and am having Michelins installed tomorrow morning because Sat morning the weather folks are calling for upper 20's, low 30's.

My plan is to wrap the old Goodyears in some shipping blankets and store them in my Garage attic til spring. I only have 4000 miles on them and might install them on a second set of wheels for tracking the car.

With that said, the tires are not meant to be driven in close to freezing temps. My other car is a AWD truck, so I'm not dependent on the 1LE to get me around during the winter, but I did drive it as often as the weather would allow. I also ran the heck out of it at the track this year. I'm on my 2nd set of Goodyear tires. They were so good at the track that I purchased another set just a few weeks ago. |

Cool, so my plan to keep the Goodyears for track days looks like a good plan. :-)
Thanks for the confirmation...
