Bad news from the dealership...WTF - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I called Turnersville Auto complex(New Jersey) and let me know today that my saleman did not put my order in for my car, Seems he has had family problems and sick himself. I place the order on 4/1/09...lol and found out today I have to re-do it. Now i just wonder how far this puts me back now..Well I hope the guys family is good and he is ok...whatelse can I say

how can u forget to place a Camaro order? no matter what the chaos?

Get the order in before the May 6th "launch" and you shouldn't have lost too much time.

I would think that the amount of orders place in these three weeks in April were fairly few in comparison to the total amount already ordered or being produced on a daily basis now so not much time was lost. That would be the good news. The bad news is that many of us that placed our orders back in October have our orders sitting right next to the one that you just placed still at 1100. So take it easy, have a beer and kick back until sometime this summer.....or so.

That sucks that it happened,but given the date you ordered i dont think it's gonna make that much of a difference.

Is Turnersville still charging $2500 over MSRP? They were my first choice dealer to preorder through, but they said it would be $2500 over MSRP so I eMailed them my disappointment in them and found another dealer selling at MSRP.

Aside from that I've had two good dealings with them (02 Camaro and 08 Equinox).

I know you have a long wait ahead of you. I put my order in on 4/21 and have found serenity since that day. It will all work out for the best. Things happen for a reason.

They told me MSRP, but we will see...All the years I have been driving and buying they have never been able to sell me a car..old owners or the new owner..
