Camaro 2SS/RS vs. Infiniti G37S

I own an 08 G37S...paid in full and such and such.

My problem is that I like my G37S...it's a sweet looking car both inside and out. The interior to me is way nicer than the Camaro (imho). I mean...a lot of people would consider it a 'better' car.

So...WHY CAN'T I STOP LOOKING AT CAMAROS?! Why am I about thiiiiissss close to running to a dealership and slapping $500 down to order a Summit White 2SS/RS with black stripes and gray interior (or should I go with the black interior? )

AHHHHHH :P

What do y'all think? Am I crazy?

I'm considering that, but I'd feel sort of silly owning two sport coupes with uncomfortable back seats lol.

I like the G...it's very refined...and there's a side of me that likes that, but I know it's missing something. An LS3 motor and muscular looks.

And call me paranoid, but I think in 10 years, the sound of a big V8 motor will be a rarity. Thanks Obama.

I know I'm just posting just to post, because everyone should do what makes them happy...I just wanted to share my frustration! :P

I love my Dodge Charger R/T. However, I HAD to have a Camaro! Check out this white Camaro for sale on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Canar...65%3A-2|39%3A1

I had an 08 G37 Journey Coupe. I loved the G37 but I decided to go for the Camaro since I've been wanting this car for several years.

In fact I traded in the G37 and my Chevy SSR to get the Camaro (with some cash back to me as well).

I would have loved to keep all of them but that was not going to happen.

You'll have to decide if the Camaro will be a long term vehicle for you, and only you can answer that question.

Good luck with your decision.

Robert

I'll be trading my paid in full '07 G35S (sedan, not coupe) for the Camaro. It's a nice car, but it's really just more luxury than I want/need and I really miss having a coupe.

Good luck with the decision!

Side note: It's kind of funny. My brother lives in Dallas, too, and sold/traded his '03 G35 coupe for a Honda Fit.

That's funny. If I pull the trigger on the Camaro, I'll probably get a Fit to tool around town in :P

Dump the G and get an SS. Right now you can't get any hotter than an SS (unless u dump six figures on an exotic).

honestlly, not to many cars create a swarm of people in a parking lot, especially one for under $40K.

I recently looked at a G37S (4 dr...essentially same performance as coupe) with the 6 spd manual. Great car, very fast, and all of the creature comforts you would expect with Infiniti. However, you only get so many new cars, and I went with my heart and got an 09 Challenger SRT8 6 spd. I have no regrets. Sure the Infiniti was a more sensible car for my family, but the Challenger just puts a huge smile on your face...even if you're just sitting in traffic!

Acuras, Infinitis, etc. are great cars, but cars like the Challenger, Camaro SS, and GT500 are truly special cars that you will cherish for years.

By the way, I came close to getting a 2SS, but the Challenger is a bit bigger, which is good for my family situation.

Buy American muscle!!!

That Camaro is not white. It may look whote in the pic, but it's silver.

You had me really excited there for a minute.

Honestly, an Infiniti is a very nice car. And since it uses the same engine as the Z, it's got quite a bit of pickup too, I'm sure. I don't know about your financial situation, but I'd hate to see you lose a good chunk of change over a trade-in. Personally, I'd wait a couple of years. Then you could get a Camaro below MSRP easily, and you wouldn't be taking such a hit on the Infiniti.

EDIT: Good call on the white though. I plan to have a white SS with blue stripes.
