Ya I see what you are talking about. I did see a tweet about being resistant to data roaming charges but surely there has to be someone up there that can post something!

Here is a link to the pic I referenced. I put a tweet to the poster asking for details on the ZL1 announcement, but she must be too busy ogling the hundreds of Camaros all over.

Look at the other pics following as well. There are several from the event.

Also, here is a tweet from 3 minutes ago.

"Ok #camaro weekend in Oshawa is killing me, just saw a pack of 50 Camaro's tearing down the 401."

Man I wish I was there.

Here is another link to a vid on site, just posted.

I like the vid. The Camaro in the picture with Scott isn't a ZL1 though. You can tell by the front fascia and the hood. It sure seems like the announcement is over though so someone needs to pass the info along ASAP!

It's official! Al Oppenheiser announced today in Oshawa that an automatic transmission will be available in the ZL1, as well as the Performance Traction Management from the ZR1!
No price, performance numbers or HP numbers, but Al did say that the ZL1 is being engineered as the ultimate drag strip car as well as the ultimate track car... and that you will be seeing numbers in the next few months that will "astound" you.

Best regards,

Elie

As much as I like what I'm hearing in regards the ZL1, I fear it will be quite pricey thereby leaving much room for the Z28. I hope.

Awesome!!!

This should open the car to a much larger market than its competitors.

And it sounds like the team is pulling out all the stops with the ZL1...I can't wait!!!
