By the way, thanks alot, you just made my day, now i just got to find a dealer here who will accept it
Yes, it's the same discount. When you get the authorization number, take it to the dealer, and they SHOULD know what to do.

And you're very welcome! By the way, any Chevrolet dealer will accept it.

I qualify for a GM Supplier Discount through my workplace. In some cases it can save a lot, but in others, the savings are fairly modest...I just tried pricing a Cobalt SS, and it knocked about $800 off the MSRP. It'll be interesting to see what can be done with the Camaro.

if you continue to get the run around in Htown, call Henna Chevrolet in Austin, TX... our salesman is Alan Klug... tell him that Turtle and Naomi told you that you'd get a good deal from him... can't promise invoice pricing but can promise MSRP... Alan will treat you right and shoot straight with you... and we're only about a 3 hour drive or less from where you are at.

David Croft from this board is now working at Champions Chevy. He was previously at Bill Heard in Sugarland. He called me yesterday to see if I was ready to order. He told me what they were doing on the Camaro and then I told him the deal I already had at another dealer and he matched it.But my order had already gone through by the time he got back to me. Look him up, he is at one of the Champions on 45. Don't recall which one.

Okey, I'm confused. Which is the right price? If 28k is right then things are looking better for me. So, which is it? 28 would better put it in the range of the Mustang if that's what we're going against, but the 31 is Challenger area.

Invoice prices (not including destination charges)

LS - $21,021.53
1LT - $22,566.60
2LT - $25,118.10
1SS - $28,581.53
2SS - $31,591.37

RS invoice on the 2SS is $996
Red Jewel Tintcoat invoice - $244.85
B7W stripes is $327

I saw invoice prices, actual dealer cost, and employee pricing sheet. This was all I was able to sneak of it.

If you look at MSRP then take 7-7.5% off this is the Invoice (what the dealer pays roughly) for the car itself. The options are running about 17% markup. This will get you with in a few dollars of the option or package COST. Remember it is still a good deal if the dealer makes...dare I say it....profit. Give the guy a break... a few hundred dollars should not make or break the deal.

I highly agree with you. This is a business after all. 500 over invoice is what I'll offer. If you ask to see the invoice on the car many dealers will show you if you seem ready to buy that day. That page also includes GMS, supplier and msrp for THAT unit. I personally won't buy till a year from now so 500 over invoice looks very possible. Then again maybe by then I'll see it offered at employee pricing for the general public as they seem to do often and with most models.

The right price is the best price you can negotiate at the time you decide to buy. If you buy now the right price will probably be higher than if you buy a year from now. If you buy from a dealer with 2 SSs the right price will be higher than a dealer with 25 SSs. Shop around.
