Any " League Bowlers " Out there ?

Well, today was better than it has been...but I'm still not satisfied. I wish I had a $1 for every 10 pin I left. Every 9 count you see is a 10 pin except for one 4 pin.

I'm glad I made all but one 10 pin, though. I'm normally 75% on those.

This is a good example to you lower average bowlers... spares matter... if I would have missed a good many of those 10 pins..my scores would have suffered even more. Also good to note, do your best to not choke in the 9th frame like I did. That REALLY hurts your score.

Well a great night on our league .. 1- 300 game and 1- 801 set shot !

My night was going great till the 3rd game . Should have did a ball swap as the lanes dried up but as you see i didn't !!! 257-279-170 = 706 set . still a great night for a 201 avg. bowler ! we took 5 points lost 2 .

Damn. 800 is hard to do. I've never done it.

I'm SO glad I finally got the 800 under my belt.

Only thing left now is 900.

I just want my 300...........But I need to get back to bowling in a couple leagues and get serious about my game.

Last 10 years has been mixed doubles with my wife............fun league.

Yea I was thinking Big Set but another one bits the dust .. The guy that did shoot the 800 had almost the same 1st two game scores .. he was rolling his world beater and Did switch balls in the 3rd game .. and I didn't .

I'm a firm believer in you bowl down/up to the competition.

Bowling in real competitive leagues makes you a better bowler.

This is very true ... but when your up there on the lane It's only you that can win or lose the game not who your bowling against. Well Ok and handicap if your in a league or tournament that's set up for it .lol

I"ve only ever had a handicapped league do the 4 point per night system.

I miss bowling scratch.

Yea my league is just 4 points....last 2 weeks my team took 3 of of the 4.

We started off horrible. 1-11 the first three weeks. But the last four weeks we have gone 15.5 - .5 so much better. We're only 3 games out of first place. Wich has been awesome considering our anchor bowler started with a 258 average.

He's down to 224 but mine has gone up as expected to 205 so far and should end up around 210 - 215 ish.
