At this point, I think we would all appreciate ANYTHING from GM. They still have not explicitly stated there is a problem or that production has halted. We have reps, dealers, and magazines that have speculated, but no official GM statement. Their (GM's) original official statement just stated they are continuing with their quality assessment.

The worst part of the entire delay is the absolutely beautiful weather we've been having. I opened the storage garage last night to air out the 10 SS and I so wanted to drive it out to the street and let it pump some air through the LS3. That's the worst part, holding back the mileage during the sale of 10, while I'm waiting for 12 ZL1.

IF I don't take delivery of my ZL1 & register it with the State, paying the requisite Sales TAX PDQ, I will lose my Sales TAX credit for the sale of my '98 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 last Fall. That's a couple of grand down the toilet. I've already spent a few grand reconfiguring/repouring my driveway so that I can garage the BEAST where it belongs. A series of compound curves with no more than a 9° transition in a 10' wheelbase was quite a feat. It's looking like I will have to undergo spinal surgery later this Summer & there will be a few months recovering.

I'd really, REALLY LOVE to get some time behind the wheel while I can. It's not that I have to be the 1st kid on my block, but the timing on #61 isn't exactly ideal.

Didn't I read this somewhere before or am I having Deja Vu?

I had two friends that had VR4's. They were awesome except doing things like replacing the heater core was a nightmare. Great cars in New England, they went through anything!

How true! 80's here today. My daughter took the 94 Corvette Convertible to work and I am still driving my pickup truck! I am missing my 2002 Z06 on days like today as well as my Harley Road Glide!

I would just love to know what issue our cars are having. This is starting to make me have second thoughts just for the fact that there seems to be a real problem and GM is keeping it very hush hush. That is normally a bad sign.

In two weeks deliveries should start. The problem is almost fixed and we will all have our cars. Don't ask, because I won't tell. There will be NO black suburbans showing up at my house.

My understanding, is eveyone who has an allocation for a 2012 MY will get their car. They can build alot in a short period of time. It started slow because they wanted it too. They needed time with CTF's to find any problems, and it worked, hence why they do it. A bunch of very smart people are about to give all us a Kick #ss car.
