Difference in zl1 wheels

I need some help. Can someone explain the difference between the LG zl1 replicas and the factory reproduction replicas. Is it preference? There seems to be a little bit of a price difference. Also, compared to the real wheels, whats the difference. The reproductions cost thousands less. They seem to be the hot wheel right now, and they do look great. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OEM is the real deal the others are replicas, variants, fakes, etc or whatever name you decide to use.

OEM is typically expensive and replicas are cheaper as with everything.

No to mention the OEM's are forged aluminum and made in the good ol USA, the others are made in China and are cast. Does it really matter to some YES to others NO just depends what you want and what you are willing to spend.

I was in line for a set of LG wheels they could not get them in stock in time so I jumped on a set of OEM's a little more but they also came with tires too

FR = $900
LF = $1,700
OEM = $2,500

I went with FR's because I wanted great looking rims for under $1K. I know, I know, I bought a $63K car and cheaped out on the rims? Yeah, who cares. Can't race the convertible at the track anyway without a rollbar and I'm not cutting up a ZL1. The weight gain for the rims was 1.2 lbs. vs. my stock polished. Yes, 1.2 lbs. cumulative for all 4.

To me its a great looking set of black rims for $900 that happen to look similar to the OEM 10 spokes. And as for the "cheaping out".....can't believe anyone is still driving on the stock GY's. They just flat out suck compared to the Michelins. LOL

Thanks guys, as usual I like to do research and get peoples thoughts on a product before I buy. Took me a while to pick an exhaust, now picking wheels. Im leaning towards the FR, probably because of the price. BTW, cvp33, car looks awesome.

Thanks. 285/35 front 315/35 rear to answer your next question. FR's and ZR28's to me are basically the same thing. Not OEM, made in China, cast wheels and the same weight. FR's have lot's more finish choices and save you some serious dough so you can upgrade your tires. I guarantee you'll feel the difference in tires before you feel a 1.2 pound weight savings in rims.
