I was at my dad's shop this evening doing a quick fix on my 1st Gen and helped get the two race cars pushed into position (the shop is kind of in a country area and starting either one of these up would spoke the nearby horses). Thought it was a nice photo op.

That one has been in the family since '83. It's a real '67 RS/SS 350 4-speed with deluxe interior (the door panels are still on it) but it was back halfed in about '86. Still it's an all metal car with all the original windows. Only thing fiberglass on it is the hood. It runs an alcohol feed 434 ci small block and runs 6.20's in the 1/8th.

The gray one we just picked up last September. It runs an alcohol 427 ci small block Reher Morrison motor. Weighs about 2200 lbs and has run a best of 5.38 with a 250 lbs driver. However, it's usually throttled back to run the 5.80 class at the local track.

Here is some better pics of the blue one about 3 years ago.

Thanks hopefully going to enter in a local show in a couple weeks.
About 22 months. But about 6 months of that it sat idle at a body shop I eventually pulled it from. Plus son in school with sports and me with regular job.
Its the never ending story.........
