i did the elwire and acrylic tubing method on my dash and i love it. it took me a few hours of sanding, and about an hour or so to do the rest. i am very happy with the way it came out and it cost a total of 38 dollars to do the whole thing. i posted a few pictures of it on the other link labeled elwire dash. the pictures don't do it any justice at all, but it will give you an idea of what it looks like. also they do have a green color but not sure how close to the synergy color it is

I did both...and I kept it the light pipe. I wanted the light pipe because the light was continuous across teh back of the insert. With the el wire, it got bent as I pushed it through the tube. That just kind of turned me off. The wire was not straight in the hollow tube. But, it can be done just fine.

OK...Well the 2011 does not have the connector on the drivers side above the fuse box. I haven't take out the speedo cluster to see if that connector is there. Anyone have a 2011 and know where to tap into power? Please help.

Is that purple wire hot? I used a test light and got nothing with key off or on. I had a good ground cause I also tested the red wire to be sure. I tested all 3 purple wires and got nothing. I don't know if there is another wire I'm supposed to tap to. Anyone?

turn on the parking lights or headlights when you test the purple wires. that way they will become hot.

I do have another problem however. I removed the tape from the door panel ABL but the light still does not show. Does it need to be sanded??

In that case look for "1B2" or Antique sage pearl if you need to touch up the sanding.

Hey TAG, I saw in another thread that you posted the paint code for the graphite silver. Where did you order it from?
