Oh I could swear!
So we get 300 coupes? (do they make these numbers up?!) That's just rubbish - so the likelyhood of being able to pick a spec is almost impossible (same as the Monaro and VXR8) AND it'll cost more than £37,000?! That's like $75,000!!! I am livid. Right.. ordering tickets to the Excel show!

I've a sneaking suspicion that the numbers are limited so that the car doesn't need full UK Type Approval. They may get away with doing SVA, along the lines of personal imports.
Does seem strange that they'd invest the time, effort and money of producing RHD and then limiting the numbers (although I guess Australia & Japan will take quite a few). |

If it's like the Monaro then that'd be exactly why the numbers are limited... food for thought eh

Hi fellas,
I cant wait for an indeterminate amount of time so i have my order in now,for a 1ss in IOM. Also ordering Noweeds exhaust diverter,Carbon Rally Stripes,Solo Performance Axle backs and Pfadt lowering springs imported and road legal for the princely sum of £36000. |

Yes mate,LHD it is, but to get a new 2010 and be one of the first in the U.K to own one has to be worth it.Not only that,if or when GM export to the U.K there has to be a fair chance it will only be the 3.5 litre version,as we are so much further down the road towards outlawing/outpricing gas-guzzlers,as they are fondly known as over here.

Got it.Never saw one in the flesh, never drove one,but ever since i saw that first silver concept picture with the wider wheels and narrow side mirrors,i knew it was the car for me.
All mods came with the car and were installed by my mate. What a great set-up.I'm in heaven. |

Will you guys be getting the manual and the automatic? I was curious to find out, because Top Gear's 3rd show, Hammy only reviewed the automatic V8 and I thought that was odd.

True
By using an Auto up against a supercharged 6L Merc, they completely undersold the Camaro. The Stick version is an animal, with a few basic Mods.An animal i'm glad i own.
No comparison. |
