SIM 2SS/RS PAINTED STRIPES AND SMOKED LIGHTS BY GARY BEST KUSTUMZ

ok I finally got around to getting the stripes painted and while i was there we decided to smoke out the tail lights, marker lights, and back up lights. After seeing the blacked out bow ties I just had to have them too. I also had the windows tinted 20% (indexing no problem)...so here are the before and after pics i put them in order tried to take same pic before and after. The work was Done at Gary Best Kustumz in Waldorf MD. he has a great web site garybestkustumz.com my car should be in the customers gallery sometime this week he will have pics of the process. As far as price it was as follows...1750.00 for the stripes....475.00 for the smokes tails, markers, backup lights....175.00 for the blacked out bow ties.....He said it was a real pain to do the tails they had to take the rear bumper off the get them out ...regardless they did a GREAT job he cleared the hood trunk and spolier with 6 coats of clear so you cant even feel the stripe just a first class job and I think i have the hottest car in MD

i would definitely black out the marker lights, because it just looks terrible with them on there. I still am not so sure for the back lights, looks great though

Agreed. Up close, it looks stupid to me, but I want to see the overall look (flow) before I say for sure how I feel about it.

And just a sidenote, why do shops think it's cool to rape words? "Kustums" or whatever...it bugs the everliving out of me. Oh well.

Everyone is so "different" with the word "custom" these days it's actually more rare for it to be correct!

Kinda like if everyone is unique, then nobody is.

Anyway, I'm not dogging on the shop honestly, every damn shop does it now, I just get easily bugged by it.

Didn't care for the looks of that until you added the full car pic. Looks like you wanted a clean, two-tone color scheme, with no other colors to get in the way. Not bad!

i think the car looks wicked the silver/black theme on ur car is played out to perfection. the only little thing i would proboly do is paint the inside of the SS symbol black and leave the silver trim around it just like how u did the bowtie.

overall excellent job. one of the hottest SS out right now.
