I used long bolts with the right threads to go through the rail where they're bolted down. Then I used two small pry bars evenly to pull the rail. The long bolts keep everything straight while removing. Mine came out pretty easy. There is a special tool that does the same thing but you don't need it.

Wait so your injectors came out attached to the rail? Mine didn't lmfao.

Right now I have the rails off and the harnesses pulled out for a little more hand room. Gonna try hitting the injectors with some WD40 and keep turning and pulling maybe eventually they will come out haha.

Yeah mine just came right out with the rail. I know the snapon truck has a tool just for pulling these injectors out. Its like a little baby slide hammer that attaches to the injector. So they must be known to be hard to get out.

Your assembly looks way different than mine. I'll have to post a picture tomorrow with how mine looks.

Haha all good. I'll get them out one way or another. By the way what is in that kit?

It's a kit to test fuel pressure. I was just using it to set the injector assembly on.

That cant be good...

In other news got the injectors out. The resistance of all of them fall within each other so I am guessing the electronics on the injectors themselves are fine. However I am still going to send them out to get cleaned and rebuilt. In the mean time took out both harnesses and gonna tear them apart to check the wiring.

Is that rust or oil blow-by? That rubber seal is leaking badly either way. I had a small amount of oil in that area when I didn't have the PCV setup correctly to vacuum.

Who are you sending your injectors to? When I checked into it I couldn't find anyone capable of rebuilding them. Plus they were only $75-$80 each so I just replaced them all.

It looks like rust to me but no idea what is causing it. All the other injector coils are fine, btw that is the #2 one. Think I should replace it? Looked quickly and one coil is $110.

It took awhile but I found a place called OKINJECTORS. They do GDI injectors for $40 each...sent them out today so will see what happens with that.

Just realized I am on a time crunch to get the car back together and fixed for fest since I'll be gone for half of July

As long as the spring in the bottom doesn't have rust. The drivers side might be building up too much pressure from blow-by.

I usually spread a small amount of oil on the rubber gasket like an O-ring to help seal it up.
