Jannetty's L99 goes 10.999!!
I was finally able to get to the track after a long winter and try the new set-up out. The car has the followings mods, nothing more:
TVS 2300 w/3.4 pulley 10psi Cooling Mist meth kit 1 3/4 Kooks headers and full exhaust (including extra resonators) CAI Inc. cold air kit 18" M & H drag radials (17 psi) Jannety custom tuning Other than that the car is 100% bone stock First pass off the trailer was 11.2 @ 123. The track marshalls came over and just asked for me to back it down. They were great guys and wanted to work with us. We did a bunch of 1/8 mile runs between three of us in and hr, only 8 cars at the test and tune!, and then decided to go for it. After the 10.99 pas we were politely asked to leave. The car made 545 / 553 on Jannetty's dyno. Thanks again Ted for a awesome job I'm headed to the chassis shop this week for a cage. |

The track was actually really great about it. They were ok with the 11.2's but the 10.9 at almost 125 was too much. I apologized before we loaded up and left. We were def the assholes here.

Yes, I trailered the car down. It's a three hr ride each way. Didn't want to get stranded if something broke.

No speed limit at the track but anything faster than 11.50 and you need a cage. I don't have one yet.

Nice pass !!
Yeah, they can't be super-lenient and risk losing NHRA status... Sound like they were pretty cool about it. You will want a rollbar/rollcage anyway. It's just plain safer and will stiffen you car quite a bit. |

Nice run Jamie!! How much weight do you think the cage will add? And aren't you worried about messing up the interior? Oh wait...I forgot who I was talking to
