I am sorry to hear about your tranny troubles. I think the majority of this forum 's users have experienced related tranny problems. I can vouch that it sucks royally.

Merry Xmas and it will get better.
Do you have hard data to support your staement or is it just another subjective opinion ??? LS3, no warranty or quality issues from time of delivery in mid July.

Sorry Amigo..I was a little quick to the keyboard on that one!! My humble apologies and I hope u get ur baby fixed up!

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

Glad you got everything cleared up. I have to say....I notice my Trans doesnt shift real smoothly into 2nd gear all the time....I get a little "slight" resistance when it is being pulled into 2nd. Anyone else have that going on??
last six of VIN 116725

Pretty late model vin. I wonder at times if I should of got the stick but then read all these threads about them. With me not being the type to have good luck mine would of broke also.

I have definite resistance (may be too strong a word) going 1st-2nd, 2nd-3rd. It is most notable at low rpm shifts. A bump, bump can even be heard at times 2nd-3rd at low rpms. I guess I will make an appointment at the dealer to document the issue. VIN is 52301

it was a trend with the output shaft problems...all seem to be under 26,xxx, but yours doesn't fall into that category.

4 months, no troubles. I am more than sure that the tranny troubles are on a super minority of cars, if not there would be a recall or something.

Transmission - Rearend rocking

I have the 2010 SS 6 spd and since day one have not had a day where I didnt curse the car. Mine has been in the shop 6+ times to diagnose its issues. My primary problem is the car (always) rocks when shifted and I'm babying the clutch. On the highway when I'm in 5 or 6th going around 50+ when I press in the clutch (no gas) and release it (normally) the rear end makes a boom sound like a rubber mallet is hitting in the differencial area and the really rocks the car. Anyone have suggestions. Thanks
