Someone could look into Boardwalk Chevrolet out here in Redwood City, CA. I would do it myself but i'm too lazy... of course I will check into it when time gets closer assuming no one else looks into it ;-)

I think we did this in the TEXAS section or thread.

I purchased my last 4 Chevys from Ancira Winton Chevrolet.

Last I checked, I think we had about 4 or 5 who were interested in going there. It was at MSRP, but maybe the more we get, the more they'd be willing to help. I'll have to call'em up and see what we can do.

I'll also create another thread for those wanting to try something like this from my regular dealer in San Antonio.

Putnam in Burlingame is very unknowledgeable, but I will check with boardwalk and see what the plan is.

Talking Dealer to buy From........

Dave Smith Motors
210 North Division
Kellogg, Idaho 83837
800-635-8000

Hello to all,

You want a NEW CAMARO for a great price when you can order them??? Well then listen up........I used to work for Dave Smith Motors for 10 years and by far they will save you money when buying any new GM or Chrysler product.(They are the largest GM dealer in the NW and were the largest Dodge Dealer in the world for many years selling a combination of about 800-1000 vehicles a month) They have been selling at $58.00 over invoice and still offering any discounts the manufacturers offer for over 20 years. They are located in Kellogg Idaho.........huh?? Yes I know in IDAHO. I promise you if you call the number you will find what I am saying to be true. With this said you can buy fleet, personal or what have you for invoice. I worked in sales and finance for nearly ten years and they are phenominal in customer satisfaction. When Camaro can be ordered please call them and see for yourself. Take care everyone and I am ready to drive my new Camaro!!!

"Corvette Conti" get a tremendous amount of praise & respect on the Corvette forums so I imagine he'll be a great source for Camaros as well.

Hopefully I can find someone a little closer to the ATL.

In other words, they plan on marking them up. If they planned on selling them at MSRP, wouldn't they just tell you that? I guarantee they have already made "decisions regarding pricing"... they just want to spring it on people once they've decided they "gotta have it".

Well as of today, this interests me as well. Just found out that I may be moving down to the area in November so my Idaho information doesn't really help me all that much anymore.

these guy's intend on selling the camaro at or below MSRP.

Hello Mr. Van Paris,

Welcome to lesstanford.com and thank you for your e-mail on the Camaro. We just recieved information on the Camaro last week. I will try to reply as to your letter on a point by point basis;

1) The RS model will have a MSRP beginning in the low 20's.
2) The SS model will begin in the high 20's and go to mid 30's , these are for the coupe models.
3) GM did not announce a Z-28 supercharged model as yet. They only hinted at a 3 model.
4) Cars will start arriving in Feb of 2009, Convertibles in the fall.
5) The 550hp motor going into the CTS will be the motor for the next stage of Camaro.
6) I cannot offer pricing on the Z-28 yet, we are selling our cars at MSRP or below.

I would think we will know morw about the Z car by mid-2009. Please let me know how I can assist you.
