Please do. The CGM is one beautiful color. When waxed and polished, the blue flake just jumps out at you in the sunlight. You made a great color choice!!! |

I started a new thread on this but thought I would go ahead and post these pictures here as well since the CGM thread is WAY UNDER represented on this board!
After seeing a lot of great cars with custom stripe paint jobs, I decided I had to get mine done as soon as I got my car. Paint colors are by far the hardest decision with the Camaro, but after deciding on a CGM car, I decided to go with SIM bumblebee stripes. However, I coulnd't just go with the standard, and after seeing Doug's car (TAG UR IT) and his awesome paint colors, I decided to go with the blue outline on my stripes. I also had them paint the bow ties the same blue. Aadvantage Autoworks in North Richland Hills, Texas, did all the painting and did a great job! I highly recommend them. They came highly recommended from the first gen Camaro club and I can see why. I am really anal when it comes to my car and the job is virtually flawless. They sanded it down right and put on several layers of clear coat afterward. The seems are really smooth. So special thanks go out to: - DJSNOFLAKE - for selling me that CGM looks great with SIM bumblebee stripes - TAG UR IT - for the colors. Doug thanks for sending me the actual paint code on the blue, that was key. and - CERBERUS - for the stripe layout that I liked best (sorry guys, no bikini babe with my car) Here are some pics: This was a pretty good pick showing teh blue flake in the CGM paint: I have a few more pictures in my album: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/album.php?albumid=1991 I love this car!
