PQ applies hood spears. What do you think?

Ok guys, I did it. I put the spears on my car. They were really easy to apply and Xmicro did a great job of creating them. I had to cut the tips off a bit but it was really easy. I got them even on both sides by the eyeball so tell me what you think. I'm not sure I'll leave them on though. I'm waiting for the ones for the side and then I'll decide.

A lot of pics I know but seeing it in person is MUCH better than pictures so I tried to get all the angles I could. Not too bad on the matching each side for a non-pro I thought.

Not sure how I feel about the bowties. Maybe if I could get the SSs in orange too, it may look better. I ordered the SS for the windshield but decided not to put them on because I think it would be too much orange and too much vinyl. The orange ones for the bowties on the wheels in my opinion would look tacky so I left them off as well.

Anyway, what do you think? Leave them on or take them off?

Very nice!!!! I like it alot like it is. IMO the orange on the windsheild would be too much. I love those wheels on the Black car!!!

Bow Ties look great, but the spears gotta go brother. You're car looks hot without them, the spears are a huge distraction. JMHO though

I think they look great! They go onto the "flat" (non scoop) part of the hood a little much tho.

It matches the interior and highlights the hood lines very well!

One question, in your last picture, how much is that hair restoration that it requires a mortgage?

I'm kinda leaning that way but not sure yet.

I thought the same thing. Still do a little but he assured me that in person it would look great and he was right. Right now I'm just concerned like Doc said, that it takes away from the naturaly pissed look of the black car.

they look great but as you move around towards the back it just doesnt have the same look, maybe look into something that highlights the side of ur car of even just the rear "shoulder" lines idk, just my opinion but front looks mean!!!

That's just the way the spears work. I think I agree, though. I'd rather have thinner spears. I'm thinking about adding them to the list of visual mods on my ABM, but I'm thinking it may be too much.

PQ, I really think I could say both leave them and take them off. I like that they give a bit of an accent to break up the black, but I think if it were me, I'd use different accents. If you don't want any other accents (hockey stick stripes, fender accents, etc.), leave them on. Just my $.02

I agree. That's why I'll wait till I get the side ones on.
