I have 18x9.5 40mm offset, no spacer in back. Just tie back e-brake cable.
I'm running 305/45R18 on back and 265/50R18 in front.

My combo in back (18x9.5 ZR1 replica + 305/45R18 Nitto NT05Rs) would cost approximately $1000 in wheels, tires, lugs and shipping ($150 per wheel; $300 per tire).
I think 17x10 Welds + MT 295/45R17 drag radials will be a bit over $1500 ($450 per wheel, $270 per tire). Just to put it in perspective.

There are usually some decent deals in the Member classifieds on here, there are a few pairs of DRs for sale right now in fact.

+1 The cheapest setup is a pair of 18" Z06 Corvette front replica wheels that are 9.5" wide with a 40 mm offset. These wheels with hold a 18x305x45 DR. These wheels weigh less than 30 pounds. If you can find real Vette wheels they are a little lighter, but very hard to find. The Vette wheels have a slightly different bolt pattern from the Camaro but they do fit.
For a little more money you can get TSW Interlagos 18x9.5 40 mm offset that are the exact Camaro bolt pattern and weight less than 20 pounds. TSW Nurburgrings in this size will also work but are a couple of pounds heavier. If you shop around for the best prices you can do a Vette replica setup for less than $1K.

Denis do you run stock fronts? Curious how this looks? I am thinking of going this route with chrome or buying black wheels and plasti-dippping the fronts. |

BBQ dude, I sent you a PM. I'll sell you a couple of my 18x9.5 vette wheels if you're interested, I no longer need a full set, just keeping two for the drags.
