All around newbie...
I've been eying the 2010 for awhile, imaging having one, but I have always said I would never buy a new car, because it's such a waste of money (in my eyes). Well last week my Cherokee broke down again causing a 7 hour trip to become a 25 hour one, and I've had enough. Problem is, I need a car now, and it's hard if not impossible to get the Camaro now.
How plausible is it to get one from a lot? I'm guessing the only way for this to happen is if an order fell through and the dealer is left with it? When will dealers get some on the lots (non preorders)? I have a setup I would like, but it isn't a must. I would take something close, something that might be sitting at a dealership. I simply want a 1LT or 2LT automatic in black or red. Lastly, since I've never bought a new car (or a used car from a dealer), how could I find a dealer that may have one for sale - just call around? |

I have talked to a few dealers in VA who still have "pre-order" cars available. Plus, there are V6 dealer cars for sale at some dealers. I think your chances are good, but you may pay a premium ($5k maybe) to get one now. Good luck and let us know what happens.

if you wanna come to WI, we have dealers with their V6 on the showroom for sale. you can take em' after May 6th. i'm sure they would transport it to you too.
two of the dealers are site sponsors here. Camaro Scotty - Newman Chevy - www.***************** Jason Drees - Symdon Chevy - dreesjason@yahoo.com Jasons personal cell is 608.751.8847, call him anytime......great guy! i know for a fact Jason has one on the floor, not test driven yet, under a cover for sale at MSRP or lower if you qualify for GMS or supplier discount. so the $5k premium everyones talking about doesn't apply with Jason or Scotty. plus, shipping would be maybe $1000.........much less thatn $5000! contact em, these won't last long! tell em' Wes sent ya!
