You may have "glazed" your clutch.

Is your clutch fluid dark?

Give this a read - it might help:

http://www.rangeracceleration.com/Clutch_Care.html

Clutch "glazing" can be a temporary issue (once the "overheat" condition subsides, the clutch will perform as normal, but if you boiled the clutch fluid, read the link)

I know the temptation is high, but have some restraint dude. This is your baby, treat her right and break her in nicely. Then she'll treat you nice when you want to run hard later. Your clutch will probably recover, but you need to be nice to it for a while.

This is why I couldn't understand people trashing the GTR for it's apparent issues. If not properly used or abused of course undesired things can happen.

im new to stick and i wanna clear something up for myself...when your holding the throttle at 100% and you "dump" the clutch, does that mean just let it go completely...like let it snap back fast? or release it somewhat with ease? i just feel like letting it go instantly would be like doing a neutral drop in an automatic car...which is deffinitely a no no...

My advice:

Make sure your car has all it's break-in miles
Read your manual

Easy for me to say not having mine sitting in my driveway though. It will be calling my name when I get mine. "Hey you, why aren't you making me do burnouts and powerslides yet?"

If you "dump" a clutch, you are letting it go from the floor to fully engaged! Lift your foot as fast as you can!

If you are sliding or bleeding the clutch (some may call it something different), you are letting it out slow so as not to spin the tires (while giving it as much throttle as you can), letting it engage only enough to gain traction and then letting off completely.

Dumping a clutch will, in time, need to be replaced!

Dude, you JUST got the car? I know you want to drive it aggressively but don't you want the car to last? I would say unless you are a trained professional and know the car inside and out, please do not destroy your investment bro.

I could never treat any car like that - especially a brand new Camaro...
