Yes I was slightly trown off when Jaime said he went from a 3.47 to a 3.33. I have the 3.33, I believe I was accedenty sent the wrong belt because the one that came with the kit was way to short, it bottom out the travel on the tensoner as well as the bolt on the back side of the tensoner that secures the pulley is also rubbing on the front bracket. I just about got it sorted out, waiting on the next size belt to come in. So I was thinking maybe the pulley and the belt were not jiving.

I used same size belt for both pulleys. Just changed the position on the bracket on the back of the tensioner.

Tried clocking it both directions from center, and was able to get more free range on the tensonor however the bolt for the pulley would not line up in the opening, and would rub on the plate bracket perventing the tensonor from moving freely.

I'm sure he will, he wasn't bashful about giving me the play by play via text. Talk about salt in the wound Either way man passing the torch to an awesome build. Congrats bud. I thought it was a fitting title seeing as I don't own the car anymore nor the record. Now I just drive a clunker.

There is only one belt for the kit K080720 OR if its a 10-rib its K100719. The tensioner plate has (10?) adjustable spots on it to move the tensioner around. Give me a shout or text me some pictures let's see what is going on ...

Vanquisher: A CTS-V is far from a clunker... lol. Main thing I am happy about is that they were both ECS kits.

Hell yeah, Like I always said. Not bad for the BASE KIT lol. But its all in the tune my friend, must be a good one. I don't know I went to a car thats even heavier but yet I'm trying to go fast? At least I can turn on my AC'd seats and cool my ass while I wear a fake wig with grey hair and listen to frank sinatra. Could be worse.

Now I need to get on that flexfuel setup

DANGIT!!

Note to self...remove restrictor and fire 100 shot. Test at rear wheels. Rinse and repeat as needed.
