i feel your pain. i broke my right drive axel about a month ago. not doin anything out of the ordinary. went to take off in launch control and car moved about an inch, made a grinding noise and that was it. they covered it under warranty and fixed it quick but did give me some funny looks and a bunch of questions. they also checked the wheel wells for melted rubber.

it does have me babying it a bit more because of my fear of how many times will they fix it before they claim abuse. dealership told me i was the first theyve ever seen in twenty years on any camaro or vette. i had to call BS on that one though.

I find it hard to believe that they can cancel your warrantee unless they have proof your abusing the vehicle in a manner it was not built to sustain.
propaganda post? Wouldn't be the first time.

They dont void your warranty the Brand your vin...(that way every GM dealer knows the car isnt under warranty)...Drag Racing is considered abuse . All you need is a Simpleton as a Service Manager and he can contact Gm and have it Branded. It can Also be branded for modifications. How ever minor. Those who are interested there is even a bulletin regarding the plug and play fog lamp harness on RS models that are being used.
