Need Design Ideas - Silver Ice w/ stripes

My wife has a SIM 2LT/RS and she wants custom painted stripes, but we are having trouble coming up with a unique design idea. - she doesn't want to mimic mine, but wants something interesting

She REALLY likes and wants to use purple as the main stripe color, but other than that we haven't figured out where to go from there. Any ideas?

White looks good with silver....don't see that too often.

If she wanted to go dark, there are several blues that would look good. How about Aqua Blue Metallic?

Also, Victory Red or Red Jewel Tintcoat could look nice. Silver cars with red accents are one of my favs (ala the classic Mercedes sports cars....)

A bit of advice, once you decide on a color, try and pick a current automotive color that she can get touch up paint for. A rock chip on a "one-off" color is not a good thing.....I speak from experience. I've got a rock chip on my ghost stripe and I have no way to fix it.

Part of the fun of choosing a color could be visiting all the dealership of various mfgs to find a color. BMW has a great red out right now....almost a blood red.

A good tip on imagining what colors may look good with silver.....check out sports teams' colors. Detroit Lions for silver with blue..... Ohio St has silver with red......

Final advice - consider a pearl ghost stripe or another shade of silver from another car mfg. that is just slightly different than SIM. Barely noticing the rally stripe until the sun hits it right is a real head turner.....

We did similar when i got the stripes painted on my car, used GM Lazer Blue Metallic.

She's pretty much picked out the new Challenger Plum Crazy purple metallic, though. Just have to figure out what to do with it, ghost or otherwise.

Plum Crazy will look great. Again, I'd consider doing a solid Plum Crazy for touch up reasons. JMO....

Be sure to post pics once it's done!

Toasty, I've wondered how the stripe design of the 427 Corvette would look on a Camaro. Might be something to consider.
