That's really pretty cool! No love here. I can't even get a certificate, much less acknowledgement that I bought it! LOL...

An update for us Canadians. Certificates are still available from GM Canada, just need to call GM Canada customer service, 1-800-263-3777. The guy I spoke with had no idea the certificates existed, but managed to find out about them and have mine sent to me. Got them in the mail a week ago for my 2013 ZL1 purchased in October 2012.

I bought a new 2013 ZL1 recently and sent an email to the address listed in the forum and got the following BS response. Not very happy and can't believe in the digital day and age they can produce one for me.

We understand your enthusiasm; however, certificates for 2013 model or earlier are no longer available. We are hoping for your understanding on this matter.

I did the form at least 6-8 months ago and have yet to receive anything. Anyone have this problem?

I got my certificate about 27 months after I purchased my ZL1. The car is definitely FAST, but Chevrolet Customer Service is SLOWER than Postal Snail Mail.

Maybe you can get that Gyro-copter mailman, oh wait, he's probably in jail. Never mind.

If any other Canadian members want that certain GM care specialist's email just PM me and I'll pass along the info.
Thanks for the contact info Ryzer, I received my certificate last week.

They truly suck for that!!! I'd have been happy if they sent me something in crayon but all of a sudden 2013 model aren't available??? What's the difference between the 2013 and 2014 really?? Totally different paper, format? Is it a big deal secret from 1 year to another in a 2/3 year old car??? WOW Chevrolet way to piss off a long time customer for something as simple as a printed piece of paper!!!

Ah, that's crap! I just bought my 2013 new just about a month ago and was REALLY looking forward to getting mine. I bet if we reach high enough (Alan Batey) we can loosen up a couple 2013 certificates!

Wow! How the heck did ya find a NEW 2013??? The dealer forgot he had one in his basement??? What was the discount on a NEW 2 year old ZL1?

I haven't even seen any new 2014s around here. And only a few 2015s, ZL1s that is, seems to be plenty of six cylinders though.

One of my soldiers who works for the Chevy dealer told me about it. He said it's been sitting on the lot for two years and nobody wanted it. Many close calls to selling it, but no trigger pulls. People buy trucks in Huntington WV, not $60,000 automatic sports cars I guess, so I got it for about 10k under sticker. Took delivery of it with 90 miles on the odometer!

Talking

I just received the letter and certificate yesterday. I am not the original owner so that was pretty cool to be able to get one still.
