Porter Cable or Zaino Bucket?

Hi. I have a friend who recommended that I get a Porter Cable starter kit to polish the car.

Porter cable can be seen here: http://www.autogeek.net/porter-cable-7424-kit.html

However, I see some of you guys also talking about getting that Zaino bucket. Which do you guys think would be better? My friend has a 2003 Terminator that is white, and he had a black one before he got his current one, and both of them really shine.

So, I am curious as to what you guys think.

I'm a noob about this, and it probably shows, so please bear with me

In my opinion... on a new car (judging you don't have a ton of swirl marks already)... you will get more out of the zaino kit. Porter cables are mostly used for polishing out defects that I'm hoping you don't have as of yet. If you take care of it well enough with the zaino kit you shouldn't need a porter cable for a long time.

Shop around before you buy a kit. Maybe just the Zaino will do. Look at the finish very carefully in the sun to see if you do need a PC. But maybe someday you will might need one. Other site's have them and if you have any questions you can PM me. I'll be glad to help.....

Also go to a detail forum like Truth in detailing and ask some questions there, you will get great answers from top detailers.

Really? I usually just poor the bucket over the car, then tie a rag to my cat and open a can of tuna on the roof.

he's de-clawed. That's a necessity if you are going to attempt cat drying.

Do you mean Pour ?

First off, You dont need a porter cable to polish a brand new car.I have one,and i haven't even thought about using it on my Camaro.

Secondly. If you dont know how to use a porter cable , you will end up causing more harm than good.
