At this point I don't put a lot of stock in anything I read about the 6.4L Hemi. It was supposed to be out for the 2011 Heavy Duty Trucks last I knew, but I got tired of waiting on the 6.4L Hemi and bought myself a Camaro. I had actually given serious thought to trading my 04 Ram in on a Power Wagon (I've almost built mine into one as it is), but with the way things are going in Ram nation right now, I just didn't want to chance it. Now that I have my Camaro, I'm so glad I kept my truck and did what I did. I get to have the best of both worlds.

Wow. My track must REALLY freaking suck then.

There was an auto R/T out there 2 weeks ago with headers, cai, tune running 13.1@111.

God I need a new track badly.

At 111 that R/T should be down around 12.7/8 or so.

Yeah, your track sucks..but so does mine, so it works out.

I'd say the gearing is the biggest thing, all 06-08 Chargers had 2.87 gears, 09-10 basic R/Ts went even higher to 2.66 ot 2.67, only the 09 Saytonas and the 10s with the super track packs get the 3.06 from the Challenger (and the 272 HP, as stated all others are 268 because of less aggressive tuning and exhaust).

I've heard old rumours and nothing since. And most of those rumors were probably a result of the SEMA car with a Viper V10 in it.

Whats magical about their 3.06 rear gears vs our 3.27's?

Stock for stock I would give the edge to the Camaro however I think it would be closer than some suspect.

The R/T auto Challenger is the best 1/4 mile car on that platform offered today.

2011 looks to be back in the hands of the SRT8 however for that kinda' money I would just buy a superior 2011 GT500.

I would be shocked out of my shorts if I did not put at least a car on a R/T mod for mod.
