I have never wanted a wagon before, but there hasn't been a CTW-V before. Though I'd rather take a CTS-V over it, CTC-V ranks below both of them

Biggest waist of money ever. Buddy of mine has a CTS-V as well. Even that seems like a waste. Great looking on the inside, just no muscle car feel though. Fast as heck though.

Hence, my point. They should continue to sell these cars to gradma and grandpa and not try and make a push in the horsepower market.

Well, its less waste than buying a lesser car, at higher cost, from Germany.

Anyway, since when did Cadillac have to carry that Albatross? I thought that was Buick's cross to bear.

The problem with that strategy is that eventually, you run out of buyers and end up with terrible brand perception (ie, Cadillac 10 years ago). It would be one thing if the these cars were horrible, half-assed attempts but they're not. If it felt like a muscle car, it would be an epic disaster. Everyone would laugh at it. Just stuffing a powerful engine into a car will not cut it against an M5 or AMG 63.
