Cool F-Bodies on the Hill - July 17, 2011 @ Waterford Hills Raceway in Clarkston, Michigan

F-Bodies on the Hill

Street Lethal Performance F-Body Organization Car Club along with Waterford Hills Raceway is inviting Camaro & Firebird owners to come spend a day at the races. Come out to see some road track racing, meet the drivers, and hang out with other fellow F-body enthusiasts.

All F-Bodies (Camaro & Firebird) will be allowed to park on the Hill by the race track, and will be invited to do parade laps around the track between races.

Date & Time: Sunday July 17, 2011 (8am-5pm)

Location: Waterford Hills Raceway - Clarkston, Michigan Waterford Hills Road Racing facilities are located on the grounds of the Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club, 4770 Waterford Road, Clarkston, MI 48346.

Please Note: To get to the track, you will have to drive 1/4 mile down a Hard Packed Dirt Road. Also, from the parking location on the Hill to the entrance of the race track there is about an 1/8 mile hard packed dirt road.

Cost: Admission will be $5.00 per person (Kids 16 and under Free), that includes a paddock pass to meet the drivers and walk around and see the race cars up close. If you choose to do laps on the track it will be an additional $5.00 per Car.

Facility Map: Go to the Official Website of Waterford Hills Raceway and click on "Fans"

Directions Map/Hotels/Restraurants: Go to the Official Website of Waterford Hills Raceway and click on "Fans"

Concession stands will be open, but feel free to bring your own food and/or beverages. Barbequing and alcohol will not be permitted.

More information:

If you do not have an F-Body you can still attend this event. You must park in the regular parking lot though. If you would like to ride with a F-Body owner around the track during the day you are there just ask anyone I am sure they would like a passenger if they don't already have one.

We will be going on the track, but you DO NOT need a helment for this event. If things go as planned, you will be able to run pretty quick, but they do have a Track Pace Car that we follow to keep our speed in check.

Parking for Trailers is available.

If you are thinking of attending and are not registered on the website please pre-register (no cost) using the "Contact Us" page at the bottom of the website... www.streetlethalperformance.com

More information about this event will be posted as it is recieved.

Note - Please pre-register if you are thinking of attending. Pre-Registration is Free.

Important Information - Anyone coming out please try to be there before noon, that is around the time we get to take laps on the track. A good time to get there is about 10am. We are also trying to see if we can go back out at the end of the day.

it is a good idea to get there as close to 10am or as soon as possible before Noon in order to go out on the track. The club does not determine the times that we get to go out, it is strickly based on the progression of how thinngs go with the races throughout the day. Going on the track is a privilage that we are given.

Hope to see everyone there!

Just now saw the thread. ABSOLUTELY, I will be there. Only 10 minutes down the road. Been waiting for this event since last year.

See you Sunday morning.
