Also. I have a friend here in sw PA that would be in for a portion. He doesn't have a Camaro, but he did lose his mom a year and about a week ago to breast cancer.

I'd be down for a Wisconsin and Minnesota portion of a run.

So far on my end, it looks like people in Jeannette are interested in joining in. If we do set up a day for a car show in town someone suggested getting a band/dj to perform. I know a few bands in the area that would love to. We also have all the music equipment right in down town to do it. The Jeannette Townhall Facebook page has made a post about it to gauge interest and so far it's pretty positive.
I was also thinking we could make a weekend of it here in south west pa if the cruise comes out this far. We could have a track day at The Pittsburgh Raceway Park on a Thursday, Friday have the car show in Jeannette, then Saturday morning crash the weekly car show in Irwin and head out in the afternoon to continue the journey. I also have family that works for the local news paper so that we could peak interest in the event.

Congrats Dean! Keep that fight attitude!
We would definitely be in for this! I am also a survivor of Colon Cancer from 4 years ago w/ a re-occurrence in sept. Fighting it now with radiation/chemo. Surgery removed the tumor at MD Anderson this time and saved my life for my daughters(7 mo & 9yrs) with my wife standing by my side all the way! My father was diagnosed late last year with lung cancer. I also lost an Aunt and a grandfather in the last two years from cancer. Now a second mother to me is terminal with months to live from colon cancer. This disease needs to be stopped and this would be a great way to help bring awareness and fight for others! Let's make this happen!

Even though I currently live in NC, I am originally from Orange County New York.
So, if you do go through PA and NY, count me in! I'll drive to Western PA to hook up. One of my best friends has a wife who is a breast cancer survivor of 6 years now and another of my friends survived a brain tumor.

I am posting from Northern Virginia, but originally from the Baltimore MD Area.
I think this is an awesome idea, and am 100% supportive. Money is really tight right now, but let me know how I can help.
