question about my order number - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

i ordered my car in december. in january i got a conformation in the mail saying my order has been accepted. there was a letter and a photo of the car. on the photo it has my order number and it starts with a D and has 8 numbers following. in the letter it says that same number is my access code to a web site called my2010chevycamaro.com. My question is about that number that i have on the photo i received from GM in the mail. Is that my order number or a number that has no relevance to my car. I have this question because i am noticing that every body else has a number that starts with N and the number consists of 6 letters.

When you placed your order you should have received a workbench order with the 6 letter order number...

Another example of GM marketing FAIL. Why did those prints have an "order number" on them when it was not even the order number? What genius thought this was a good idea?
