Airbag resistor to run with racing seats!?

I've done a lot of searching on this forum about the resistor trick. Seems to be a few threads that dropped off with unsure info. Was just coming back to see if theres any new information about getting the airbag light off. I just ordered Braum seats and would like to keep that light off when I install them.

My main goal is to keep that light off after the install so any extra info would be awesome!

Nice car!
I too have been seeking this mystery. Seems to be a solution but nobody willing to discuss. I want to keep all my airbags but the seat side air bags, so I can do a light weight race seats up front. I have held off from buying the seats because I do not want to mess the air bags crap up. GRRRRR.. I remember the days with no air bags. When they put front dash air bags that was ok. But now its just way over done with air bag crap and sensors.

Thanks brother! That's kinda the feeling I got from the threads I've read but either way I'm going forward with this project. I already bought the seats a set of harnesses and the harness bar. Was just hoping to find someone who may have known more about it. It's gonna be a hell of a gamble. If it works out then I'd like to share my experience unless there's a reason theres no info out there for us.

Between 2.1 and 4 ohm for any airbag in the seat. The passenger presence system cannot be defeated by any means I know of, maybe someone makes a faker module or program. The sensor can't be removed because it's a module that communicates to the airbag module.

Here is the procedure I used on my Z/28 I'm going to assume that the wire colors are the same on all Gen 5 Camaros. This will only work on the drivers seat, for the passenger seat you will need the pressure sensor pad out of your old seat or buy a new one but they are expensive if I remember right they were close to 400.00 but it should be pretty straight forward just two more wires at the plug.

from how i understand it... its not just the light that is annoying... but if you remove the seats and do trick the complete system, then NONE of your airbags will work at all.. the complete system is disabled!!
