Even if this isn't one of the host hotels, you can't beat the proximity to Firebird. Looks like they have plenty of parking and somewhat reasonable rates compared to the standard chain hotels in the area...well, as long as you stay away from the resort up the road - that place was pricey! I've already got my room booked.

We know we can't cater to everyone every year. This is a nationwide event and we can't make everyone happy every year. We also can't hold the event in one part of the nation ever year and tell everyone else they are out of luck.

We are set on making this yearly event, one of the best events of the year. I'm sorry some of you can't make it, just like myself and hundreds of others couldn't make it last year. All we can do is move on and try to make this the best that we can.

As for regional meets. Yes they are everywhere. Local members always set up local meets. Just look at the California sub-forum, we have the largest amounts of meets and events in the country. And as for the demographics map. Take a look at the amount of Camaros sold per state. The top two are Texas and California, so I'm sure we won't have trouble representing.
All I hope is that, those who can't make it this year can make it next year, wherever it is.
Well said!

Another thing.
Please hold on to booking hotel rooms. We are working on the host hotels and discounts.

It is ONLY 2350 miles and 38 hours from me. I will see if I can make it, missed the first one. I don't want to miss this one, just a little far.

Might need to take a couple more days off to recover lol.

If Mt. Rushmore is included, it is about 85 hours driving time. I'd love to take the Camaro to Phoenix, but wouldn't want to have both my wife & I drive the whole 85 hours, so may have to look into shipping the Camaro back home.
I like the way you think..Add in Bryce Canyon if you make the trip, pretty awesome.

And for us East Coasters...there's always Camaros at Carlisle in PA! As for me, I'm going to try my best to attend both! One with my ride and one without!
