Big Dame,

I sent my car to Nickey Chicago. I have an LS-3 that started out as a Stage II
naturally aspirated with aprox. 600HP at the fly wheel. I sent it back and had a Maggie SC installed. With other goodies, it made 655 RWHP and 600 ft lbs. torq.
They are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you might have.

You've made your car gain maybe 10 HP with the cold sir intake. The cat-back system only makes noise and will just embarrass you when someone wants you to back that sound up.

Think VERY hard about wanting 600 HP. If you really wanted that, you should have bought a ZL1. Nobody wants 600 HP unless they want to play. Put sticky tires on 600 HP and your stock tranny might be up to it for a SHORT time. Your axles are DEFINATELY not up to it.

You're talking $10,000+ to have a 600 HP car that will not break. That figure is on the LOW side if you do the work yourself. Given the questions you asked, it sounds like you a little new to the HP game. $6000 for a huffer if YOU install it. A converter and tranny upgrade is about $2500 to get it done. Suspension/subframe mods can run you $3000 to get done. $1500 for gears plus $1600 for axles installed. Then you need wheels and sticky tires if you wanna play.

The ZL1 sounds better all the time doesn't it? If not, get quality long tubes, a cam, a converter, gears, and beef up your suspension for under$10K. Have fun without buying another car or breaking the bank.

NOBODY ever had a 600 HP car just to look and sound good as they WILL have to nut up at some point. Blowing up your stack drivetrain and twisting the subframe all to hell would get REAL expensive.

Start with good headers, gears, and a quality tune. Maybe some trailing arms, to go with the sticky tires. It will be a hoot of a Camaro to drive and your bank account will love it. Later on....maybe do the converter and cam.

With 1400 miles on the clock, my 2014 LS3 dyno'd at (APEX Chase was on the money!) 370/364 on a humid Texas July morning just recently.

My signature shows what a quality exhaust and tune did for it...even with the stock airbox and in the afternoon heat and humidity. Just a hair under 40 RWHP is fine numbers for an exhaust upgrade.

I may do the clutch and sticky tires before going to a new bumpstick. Pushin' a car (for any distance) because you burned up a clutch, really sucks and shows poor planning. I learned that lesson the hard way, in 1969.
