Because i like the V6 but thinking about traiding it in for a V8 so if im only getting max 40 extra hp with a S/C that cost more than 5K might as well have that for a down payment for a V8 and end up getting 426HP stock right?
The 312 HP is the HP at the crank of the motor... the 340 RWHP is the amount of HP measured at the tires... if you have an automatic, then that 340 RWHP would be just above 400 HP... maybe around 415 HP...

Yes, in essence the supercharger usually gives a good 80-100 hp over the stock numbers.

For your budjet a few weeks ago someone posted a take off ipf system. She aquired the car bit didnt want the sc kit. Price will be pretty good is my guess if its still available.

I see v6 owners take off rx sc is still available at 4300 bucks its a great deal and I think it comes with a few extras.

Luckly there have been a few that had sc kits a bought other vehicles and kept the super chargers to resell. No better time to get a good deal.

I believe Sycraft has a 2012 LFX. I this the op has an LLT. Either way the IPF is a great way to go. The setup is clean and with Arno doing your tune you'll be wearing a permagrin like the rest of us !
