You can afford a 30k+ car, but not a 100 dollar beater?

"The Shop inc." in lincoln will hook u up.

I think it's about 33rd/Cornhusker.

I have never left there unhappy. I brought them my transmission to be rebuilt. Best price and it works great. They can do just about anything you need I bet...

U R funny! Yea, you bring me a 100 dollar beater that I don't have to put 300 dollars worth of repairs into every month, and I'll give ya cash! We did that with a beater that our son tried to keep alive, no thanks!

Im also currently looking for my dream beater mobile, Im settin my standards right around 1500, CASH! but not really having any luck here in boonys of nebraska finding anything that runs good.. (sad face)

And Also to locomaro, you go girl! I've had my camaro right around a month and some now and i guess it still has that "New toy" feeling where i feel like i have to dust it off after every drive (Mostly the back end, have you noticed how bad dirt/dust clusters back there?) and get the bugs off, etc.. So maybe here in awhile il be plowin through 17 inches of snow with it but for now.. Not so much

Ps - i think we have the exact same car, 2SS/RS Black on black Silver rally stripes polished 20's?

I'm not sure why you guys brag about driving them in the winter. The salt eats the clear coat and everything underneath will probably be rusted after 2 years.

Whatever, I guess you don't even work on cars enough to care what the salt and sand will do to it.
I have lived here for 15 years and ND/SD before that an no car I have ever owned has EVER gotten rust from driving in the winter..... Our Toyota Avalon is nine years old, and no rust to be found. We only usually have major snows here a few times during the winter. Once the roads are dry (usually only a few days later) I wash my car, and I've never had problems. Granted, I feel really sorry for you guys out west right now...... getting an awful lot of snow for this time of year......

Yeah 'cause I want to drive a 100 dollar beater and then have to pay to keep it running so that I don't BREAK DOWN in the middle of the winter????!!!!!! I have a perfectly good car in my garage, why not drive it? Yes, it's a beautiful car, but at the end of the day it is a CAR and meant to be driven.

Thanks! Just putting the smack down on him!!!! LOL!! Speaking of washing frequently, I'm getting really sick of the rain around here. I've had the car for a week and a half and I feel like I've washed it every other day! I suppose it could be worse.... it could be snowing! (sorry to all you that live out west)
