Well if you look above that screen in the center there is a dark spot. That is where the compass would located... So I do think it's coming...

Then there's got to be something Illegal about it...because the police can't go around givein tickets for not following the states 'advise'.

Cool photos!!! I can't wait to get a photo of this car in my driveway

Are we going to get any photos of the V8 and maybe the undercarriage?

I love the interior, especially illuminated.

They gotta do something with that horn and steering wheel, why can't they make it more like the CTS-V/Corvette or something (with steering wheel controls), BTW what size radio will fit? It looks like a new spec or something...I don't want to use spacers...lol!
No Aftermarket Radio, this is a combined intagrated system, both Radio and A/C controls are in there, most likely the screen will show the AC temp and fans speed as well as vent status. So you are stuck with this radio, But it looks like it is a 6 disk changer and has MP3 playback so not bad. But since it has On Star I don't see it having a Link system unless on star offers an interface for Cell Phone usage.

Keep in mind folks that these look like camera phone pics and in any space with superb light they are going to be crap. At least the ones on my phone look like crap.

Glad that have a fuel gauge in the speedo, it needed to be there. Same with the info center between the two pods. Not feeling the radio controls but then I don't use the radio much except for the wheel mounted controls.

Overall looks pretty good.

Suggestion for GM, add shift paddles as an option for those that want the auto as well as rev matching.

Also please pay close attention to clutch take up rate and shift action on the manual. Besides steering feel these are two main points of driver connection to the car.

Also if there is something you can't include due to cost make it an option if possible

take a look at this picture from the Camaro Concept 'vert

notice that there is an arrow beside the gas logo that points to the passenger side... perhaps this screen that we are seeing is specific to the V6... or perhaps the screen that is on the Concept would have the same writing on it when the hood is open or the brake fluid is low... those sensors were probably not installed on the Concept, so its hard to say... but the comparison between the two makes me think that the screen will have what I'm talking about on it when there isn't an urgent message on the screen

something else that has been brought up time and time again is the shifter: folks, I hate to tell you this... but the Concepts shifter is not going to make it to production... and it might not even be offered by GM... because that is a SOLID PIECE OF METAL... do you have any idea how hot that gets? do you have any idea how many people would buy this car and then burn the heck out of their hands on that shifter? I'm quite sure that some aftermarket company will offer a shifter that looks like the Concept's shifter, but I highly doubt that GM would ever let something that could pose as great a threat for lawsuit as that make it to production... I know I wouldn't if I was on the design team.

My Bad it's not Illegal for Automatics (Illegal for Manual Cars) Now there were 3 cars stolen in my neiborhood this winter and 17 tickets written alone, so it is a problem. So I will bet Kane will propose this as a law soon.
Virginia is becoming a Police State, Just look at the Abusive Driver Fines, 1000 bucks for not using your turn signal, 3000 for driving over 80 mph or 20 over posted. and it only applies to VA residents, come on, and VA and DC are the only states that outlaws Radar detectors in private vehicles. I hate VA.

Gov. Kane is an A$$

I have been wondering whether that was intentional. It's also worth noting that the member who posted the pictures on this forum says Detroit (America's car capital) in the username and this is that user's first post. That suggests inside information. We like inside information.

It is illegal to put a remote start in a a manual here in TX and it's illegal to leave your car parked while running and unattended. You can be written a citation for that.,

Now BACK ON TOPIC!!

Man, I hear you on the police state comment. One thing I love going to WVU is it feels almost like lawlessness on the roads compared to Va.

The interior looks great with everything lit up. The AC vents look boring compared to their concept counterparts.
