Bands visible after 8k miles!?

Title says it all... car was bought new, got it with 200 miles... (maybe dealer had it at the track???) To see bands after 8000 miles seems crazy to me. Any recommendations on replacements? These don't last ANYWHERE near what I expected... gotta stay with run flats, can't take the chance. https://ibb.co/jMr18Xm

Check your alignment, not sure on replacement runflats but checkout tire rack

Agreed. It seems very likely that your car has an alignment or mechanical issue that caused the tires to wear that badly. You’ll want to get that resolved soon so your next set of tires doesn’t do the same thing.

What kind of tires are you looking for next? Summer performance tires or all-season tires?

Summer, I park the car for the winter, hidden from the salt my mechanic recommended Pirellis but I'm open to suggestions

I had a set of Pirelli's one of my other cars, they didn't last anywhere near as long as they should have... Never again...

Most likely your alignment. How hard do you drive it

There aren’t many summer performance run flat options for our cars. Tire Rack rates the Pirelli P Zero Run Flat (PZ4) tires as better than the OEM Goodyears. I don’t have any personal experience with the Pirellis so I can’t give any advice. I got over 20,000 miles out of my Goodyears and then switched to Michelin PS4S tires a few years ago. Good luck with your search!

Don't use perelli. Crap tires and they melt on the track when the supercar 3 don't. Get pilot sports if you change

MS 4S tires would be my first choice. I have 9K miles on mine and 30 track sessions and still have 60% left. Pirellis are SHIT. I even had a flat ON TRACK with the MS 4S tires and even at high speed the tire was stable (0-5 PSI). The sidewall construction is VERY strong on a michelin tire. You dont need run flats unless for some reason you like a rougher riding car. Thats of course is the reason michelins are expensive due to their construction but they are worth it.
