Don't underestimate the value of instruction. Ego is the single biggest limiting factor to driver improvement in ANY racing environment. Very few people are able to get even 90% of the capability of the vehicle of choice on the track. Experience without instruction may get you some improvement but will also net you a whole slew of bad habits. If you really want to improve, take advantage of the instruction at the track days. You would pay thousands for a driving school for what you can get for free at these track days. My .02.

Now, I couldn't watch the whole video (bad internet overseas) but you ran CCW which is a lot of fun because you can carry so much speed on that front straight. I am really interested in what you thought of the 1LE's performance. How were your lap times? And how'd the tires hold up? Streets eats tires.

Finally, if you want to keep doing road courses, hit up "BOLTVETTE". His company is sponsoring a Pony Car Series track schedule in SoCal. We are always looking to grow the group, especially since I am one of only a few that represent the Camaro. Take care.

Thanks for the input. I am a good driver but I know I don't know everything. I have been told by a few that an instructor helped them out quite a bit hence why I was thinking about it. I bought this car so I could have some fun on a track but have yet to do so. Hopefully that will change in the near future!

Just looked on Speedventures sign up list and there is a Boss 302 that is going to be there...too bad this is the same day as RTTC cause we could have seen what it could do....I see Mick is signed up so hopefully he can see what times he runs compared to others....

And Donnie, now you have to guess am I going 19's or 20's???
