Performance Upgrades - STATE INSPECTION

I know that most of the upgrades are not legal in most states. Curious to know if installing a CAI, Exhaust & Sway Bars - Can i get through the State Inspection ?

Not sure, if i'm in the right forum...

It depends on the laws in your state. The sway bars are definitely fine. Cat back exhaust with mufflers also shouldn't be an issue.

The only issue I could possibly imagine might be the CAI. I'd try running it through as-is. If it flunks, at least they'd tell you why, right? Do they give you a free one-time reinspect if it doesn't pass?

No reason you wouldn't pass in PA as long as you have mufflers and cats for the visual safety check. The need to pass emissions depends on your county

it will pass state inspection. none of those mods should throw a check engine light if properly installed. there fore should pass emissions as well which would result in a legal car. i inspect cars everyday, at a ford dealer tho, hence why i drive a camaro.
