I do agree that the G8 is a little better looking also. The SS is good looking to me. Although a few exterior tweaks to make it more aggressive looking would be good. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

If the SS was around when I bought my 1LE, I would have chosen the SS. Admittedly it is not as attractive as the Camaro, but having 4 doors is worth it. Plus now you can get MR and M6.
The SS compares with the G8 because it is a later version of that car. I also read somwhere Chevy wants to build a version with the 1LE suspension. But If you want an SS sedan, get one soon. I doubt they will be around after 2016. No one is buying them even though at its price range only the Scat pack Charger is the only competitor. And the SS is a better car. Chevy should have spent a little effort styling the SS and giving it a better name. How about Chevelle SS 376? It is a 4 door Camaro. It weighs about the same.

I do like my Camaro, but I think a sedan is a more practical car for me. I got to drive a loaner Impala and I thought it was nice for a base, but the only way I'd get one was if it was the SS with that good looking interior. I didn't like it at first, but after looking at some videos and images I quickly changed my mind.
Plus the mufflers aren't suitcase sized like the Camaro.

It wasn't an option in 2014, but in 2015 they started to come with manuals.

the SS reminds me of the GTO. both fast cars, but really bland on styling.

I switched from a Camaro SS convertible to an SS Sedan. It's a great car to drive and definitely is a sleeper. I can get groceries and haul a$$ .
SS = Super Sleeper. ALL 2015 SS sedans come with magnetic suspension. The SS sedan IS the follow on to the G8. The G8 is the Holden Commodore VE and the SS is the Holden Commodore VF. Since Pontiac is no more GM brought it over as a Chevy. The SS Sedan automatic is a LS3 (no AFM). I recommend checking out http://ssforums.com. Here's mine after installing a Solo axle back - Front seats

I like the SS a lot. It is a worthy descendant of the old Impala SS cars from the 60s. They were family cars/hot rods. Go get groceries REAL FAST.
The interior is cool, I would go for the stick. I love my convertibles, but if I was to go for a bigger car, this one would be it. I sat in one at my dealer and it was very reminiscent of my old 65 SS in a way. Anyway, that's this guy's opinion.
